practical suggestions and strategies for providing a smooth transition
for students from the preschool environment to the
kindergarten/school-age setting.
Creating
an Inclusive Multicultural Environment

teaching strategies to include diverse learners from various cultures
and ethnic
backgrounds in the Least
Restrictive Environment. On-site guided practice will be provided
at the Penn
State Bennett Family Center.

Instruction and Curricular

Adaptations within the Inclusive
Classroom (K2C2-13)
This training will focus on
strategies for differentiating instruction and adapting curriculum to
meet the
needs of diverse learners.
Math and Literacy content will be embedded within the instructional
activities, utilizing the Multiple
Intelligences framework. These activities will be linked to the PA
Math and Literacy Academic
Standards/Early Learning Standards.
