Description:  This refresher is designed for those individuals who have completed the CPI 12-hour course on Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (NCI).  A refresher course is required to keep current with information learned in the intitial training and to keep your CPI Completion card current.  This workshop will review the Non-violent Crisis Intervention concepts and give you an opportunity to review previously learned techniques.  

Competencies:  Participants will:

• refine and enhance skills in Nonviolent Crisis Intervention.
• use a team approach to crisis intervention, which promotes the care, welfare, safety and security for all staff and students.
• receive documentation that their training remains current.

Act 48 Continuing Professional Education: 5 approved hours via CIU 10

Audience:  Any individuals with current training in CPI.  Participants are encouraged to attend with colleagues who are trained (team approach).  Please contact Jeff Holter ( jholter@ciu10.com ) if you have questions.
